It could be for those of you who are in my Bible classes. Um there's nothing like just gathering over food and talking about your week and what's going on in your life, maybe struggles, and then we'll kind of transition into a discussion time. We'll begin each Sabbath with just some food like a light brunch, beverages, hot chocolates, cider, coffee, tea, some fruits, maybe donuts once in a while and just kind of fellowship together. Um just that I forgot to mention of what that time together is going to look like. Is there anything else you'd like to tell us about this? Yeah, one last thing. We really wanted to be a place where you can call home, not a space that invited to but something that is yours. If if you are between those ages, the space belongs to you. So, who is this for? Who can come to this gathering? This youth gathering is going to be for any youth ages 14 to about 19 whether you attend Auburn, whether you home school, whether you visit us once a year, the space is for you. Not quite but we'll be in there and we're really going for kind of that family living room aesthetic where it can be a space you walk into and you automatically feel like this is home. If you remember, where all the costumes were for J 2B, that kind of long room. So, we'll gather here on Sabbath mornings at 10 o'clock and it's going to be in this room actually kind of behind this wall. So, Pastor Eddie, tell us more about what this gathering is going to look like. So, the G is for god, L is for love, O is others, and W is worship. It's going to be a Sabbath Morning Youth Gathering and the name that we're going to call it is Glow and Glow is an acronym that is going to represent kind of the four values of this youth gathering. Yeah, so next week, we have an exciting opportunity for youth that's going to take place at this church. It's coming out next week and I'm going to call up Pastor Eddie to come and help me talk about and tell us more about what's happening next week. And so we're really excited to launch it. We've been planning it and thinking about it for a very long time. So, we have a really exciting opportunity and thing that's happening in next week. So, please enjoy the service and we will have some a few announcements right before it starts. So, we're hoping that you guys can now have like an experience of what you used to have as a kid at at Sabbath School each week which is carefree and full of joy. Not that they are good to the adults but sometimes kids can find it hard to sit through them. Um so, I hope you enjoy service because I know like the kids, they normally have to sit through like a lot of long services. We put it on last year and Aboriginal Hope just stands for helping out people everywhere and that's just what we do. Um Operation Hope is putting it on this year. Um for those of you who don't know, Kids Church is a service dedicated to the children of the church. If you guys are sitting in the back, we don't bite. I'd like to invite you all to come a little closer. | By Auburn Adventist Academy Church | Facebook | In.
